Guri City Holds Meeting with Oral Health Volunteer Group 'Dentimom'

Guri City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 5th that it held a meeting with members of 'Dentimom' (President Lee Soon-young), a local oral health volunteer group supporting oral health promotion projects, on the 4th.

The meeting was attended by a total of 19 people, including Kim Eun-joo, head of the health center, staff members, Dentimom President Lee Soon-young, and members, to share the achievements of their activities so far, gather opinions to reflect in the 2025 oral health project, and express gratitude for their efforts.


Founded in 2013, 'Dentimom' is a professional oral health volunteer group that actively carries out volunteer activities for the development of oral health projects, such as distributing fluoride solution for home use once a month, running a toothbrush replacement campaign in March, June, September, and December, and participating in oral health campaigns during the Canola Flower and Cosmos festivals.


They also actively participate in school oral health projects by conducting oral examinations and oral education for special classes in local elementary, middle, and high schools.


Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri City said, “I sincerely thank the Dentimom volunteer group for their dedication to improving the oral health of Guri citizens. The city will continue to cooperate more closely with community volunteer organizations and do its best in oral health projects.”
