Goryeong-gun Holds Induction Ceremony for Donors' Hall of Fame

Goryeong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, held an induction ceremony for the Goryeong-gun Donors' Hall of Fame on the 4th to honor the donors' dignity and pride and to express respect and gratitude.

The ceremony was attended by over 100 people, including inductees, heads of institutions, and social organizations, who shared meaningful moments such as the Hall of Fame induction, viewing of a commemorative video, and presentation of sharing certificates.

The donors inducted on this day were eight individuals, companies, and organizations who had donated a total of over 10 million KRW as of October 31 through the Community Chest donations, Education Development Fund, and Hometown Love Donation.

County Governor Lee Nam-cheol expressed, “We deeply thank the donors who practice generous sharing,” and added, “We will create a Goryeong-gun where the value of sharing is further recognized.”

Goryeong-gun established the Donors' Hall of Fame in December 2023 to expand donor appreciation, spread interest and participation in donations, and promote a healthy donation culture. With the induction of eight people on this day, a total of 180 noble names are now registered in the Goryeong-gun Donors' Hall of Fame.
