28 Clubs Including Choir and Nanta with 520 Members Active
Recently, Naju City in Jeollanam-do successfully concluded the 'Resident Life Culture Club Festival' held at Naju Jeongmiso, attended by over 300 citizens and club members.
According to the city on the 29th, this festival was organized to revitalize the resident life culture clubs based at Naju Jeongmiso and to contribute to the cultural and economic revitalization of the Naju Eupseong area and the development of Naju City's culture and arts through exchanges between clubs.
At Naju Jeongmiso, more than 520 members are active across 28 clubs including choir, Nanta, line dance, Korean dance, pansori, pan flute, yoga gugak, and more. In this festival, 15 teams including the Baekkot Sori Choir participated with over 300 members, showcasing their achievements through diverse performances.
Mayor Yoon Byung-tae stated, “I hope Naju Jeongmiso will establish itself as a hub that provides cultural and leisure spaces for residents of the Eupseong area, invigorating the region,” and added, “We will spare no support to make and nurture Naju Jeongmiso and other facilities in the Eupseong area into cultural spaces accessible to all citizens.”
