Polaris Office announced on the 28th that it has signed a three-party strategic business agreement (MOU) with its affiliate Polaris AI Pharma and Sejong University for research and development and talent cultivation using artificial intelligence (AI).
This agreement aims to maximize the use of AI technology across the pharmaceutical industry by combining Polaris Office's AI-based data analysis technology, Polaris AI Pharma's pharmaceutical research expertise, and Sejong University's academic capabilities.
Through this collaboration, the three institutions will actively cooperate in ▲ research in management, data analysis, and pharmaceutical fields using AI technology ▲ development of AI solutions to improve work productivity such as pharmaceutical research ▲ design and operation of educational programs for cultivating AI specialists.
Recently, Sejong University has been actively advancing AI talent development. In August, it promoted research, innovation, and development in the AI field by establishing an AI Media Commerce major in collaboration with Naver Business School. In March, it also signed an agreement with Gangwon Province to advance AI-based biopharmaceutical drug development.
A representative of Polaris Office Group stated, “We aim to realize AI technology that can be directly applied to the pharmaceutical research process, going beyond the existing support level of analyzing pharmaceutical papers and patents through ‘Polaris Office AI.’ We will continue to exchange and cooperate with Sejong University and other partners so that AI technology can spread throughout the industry, not only in pharmaceutical research.”
Meanwhile, Polaris Office Group has established an AI Convergence Research Institute centered on Polaris Office, which collaborates with various AI companies such as Naver Cloud and LG AI Research. Through affiliates in different industries such as Polaris Sewon, Polaris Uno, Polaris AI, and Polaris AI Pharma, the group is pursuing vertical AI that applies AI across industries and promoting mutual growth within the group.
