National Approval Rating Drops 3.9%p in TK
Democratic Party Up 3.8%p to 47.5%
People Power Party Up 0.9%p to 31.6%
President Yoon Suk-yeol's approval rating for his administration has stopped declining and rebounded.
According to a public opinion poll released on the 18th by Realmeter (commissioned by Energy Economy Newspaper, conducted from the 11th to the 15th targeting 2,505 voters aged 18 and over, with 97% mobile and 3% landline respondents, using ARS automated response method, with a sampling error of ±2.0 percentage points at a 95% confidence level, and a response rate of 3.3%), President Yoon's approval rating rose by 1.4 percentage points from the previous week's survey to 23.7%. Negative evaluations dropped by 2.1 percentage points to 73.0%.
Realmeter stated, "The approval rating rebounded after three weeks, maintaining the low 20% range," and added, "In daily aggregates, it rose to the mid-20% range toward the end of the week." Looking at the daily changes in approval ratings released by Realmeter, it was 21.1% on the 12th at the beginning of the week but recorded 25.6% on the 14th and 24.8% on the 15th.
The approval rating showed an upward trend in Seoul by 5.3 percentage points, Daejeon·Sejong·Chungcheong by 5.2 percentage points, and among those in their 60s by 6.6 percentage points. However, it fell by 3.9% in Daegu·Gyeongbuk (TK). Accordingly, the approval rating within TK dropped from 37.2% to 33.3%.
In the party approval rating survey (commissioned by Energy Economy Newspaper, conducted from the 14th to the 15th targeting 1,003 voters aged 18 and over, with 97% mobile and 3% landline respondents, using ARS automated response method, with a sampling error of ±3.1 percentage points at a 95% confidence level, and a response rate of 3.0%), the Democratic Party of Korea's approval rating rose by 3.8 percentage points to 47.5%. The People Power Party's approval rating also increased by 0.9 percentage points to 31.6%. On the other hand, the Justice Innovation Party's approval rating fell by 3.4 percentage points to 5.6%.
