U.S. House UFO Hearing
"Emails Containing UFOs Deleted"
"UFOs are real. We must not turn a blind eye to this. We need to boldly face reality."
U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet testified this on the 13th (local time) at a hearing on unidentified flying objects (UFOs) held by a subcommittee of the U.S. House Oversight Committee, according to The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
An unidentified flying object (UFO) captured in the sky by a pilot of a US Navy FA-18 Super Hornet. Video captured by the US Department of Defense.
He claimed, "I first became aware of the existence of UFOs in 2015 while serving in the Navy. I received an email with a video of the flying object from someone affiliated with the U.S. Fleet Command." The email stated that "there were several near mid-air collision incidents, and if this issue is not resolved, training exercises might be canceled." The video attached to the email was filmed by a Navy aircraft during training and showed a flying object with structural characteristics and flight patterns different from those of U.S. military aircraft.
However, the email containing the video suddenly disappeared from Gallaudet's account. The same happened to other colleagues' accounts.
Former U.S. Department of Defense official Luis Elizondo also appeared as a witness at the hearing that day, supporting Gallaudet's claims. He emphasized repeatedly, "The United States and some adversary nations possess unidentified aerial phenomenon (UAP) technology, and they keep it secret to hide the fact that we are not alone in space." The U.S. government generally uses the term UAP (unidentified aerial phenomenon) instead of UFO. He said, "Advanced technology not created by our government or any other government is monitoring sensitive military facilities worldwide," adding, "I believe Americans can handle this truth. I also believe the world has the right to know this truth."
The U.S. Congress held a public hearing on UFOs in May 2022 for the first time in over 50 years and held a similar hearing last year. Sean Kirkpatrick, who served as the director of the Department of Defense's related task force at the time, testified that he has investigated about 800 reported UFO cases over more than 20 years since 1996, and that there were not many unexplained anomalous cases. In a report released in March, U.S. authorities maintained the position that the UFOs witnessed by people did not come from outside the Earth and that there was no government-level cover-up.
