Superintendent Kim stated, "The Office of Education will prioritize creating a school culture where students' learning rights and teachers' authority are harmonized, focusing on building schools where true education is possible. We will enhance educational capacity through joint curricula among small schools and solidify students' subject choices and customized career education through the Jeonnam Online School, which will open on March 1 next year."

The Office of Education plans to lead a major shift toward student-led classes by conducting lesson research, branding, and customized consulting centered on the "2030 Lesson Study Group" to establish and expand the "2030 Classroom," which was proposed as a future teaching model at the Glocal Future Education Expo.

In particular, to create an educational ecosystem deeply engaged in students' learning and growth, the plan is to optimize school administrative tasks and strengthen school autonomy so that teachers can focus all their capabilities solely on "teaching." To help Jeonnam students nurture bigger dreams toward the world, international exchanges will be expanded based on the Glocal Education Network. Efforts will also be made to cultivate capable athletic talents and attract outstanding overseas talents with bilingual advantages to Jeonnam.

To help students understand and love their region, efforts will be made to solidify distinctive educational programs such as operating 350 student-led environmental clubs and education to cultivate Jeonnam’s (義) spirit. The driving force behind Jeonnam education development, public-private-academic cooperation, will be further strengthened to create an educational ecosystem where the region and the world coexist, including restructuring vocational high schools linked to regional strategic industries and operating sustainable rural study-abroad programs.

Policies to enhance trust in educational administration and guarantee fair opportunities will also be promoted. Smart Work Centers will be established by region to support faculty and staff working in efficient and flexible environments, and the NE chatbot will be enhanced to improve administrative efficiency. Transparency in contracts, construction, and budget execution will be secured through anti-corruption and integrity policies, strengthening trust in school sites.

Regular safety inspections of educational facilities will be expanded to ensure that students and staff can live and learn in a safe environment, and facility improvements such as the introduction of advanced restroom models will create a pleasant and modern school environment. Through the student-customized integrated support system and full implementation of the Neulbom School, students will be supported to enjoy more comprehensive educational welfare.

Superintendent Kim said, "According to the inflow and outflow status of high school students over the past three years, a total of 692 students have purely moved into Jeonnam. This is a hopeful message showing that Jeonnam education is gaining competitiveness. We will continue to focus on creating a sustainable educational ecosystem where our children can learn and live happily in Jeonnam."
