Gyeonggi-do to Hold Investment Exchange Meeting on the 14th for Global Investment Attraction of Startup Companies

An investment exchange meeting where startups and investors in Pangyo Techno Valley, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province can meet will be held.

Gyeonggi Province announced on the 13th that the 4th event of the ‘2024 Pangyo Startup Investment Exchange In-Best Pangyo’ will be held on the 14th at the Seongnam Pangyo Corporate Support Hub.

Hosted by Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency, this event was planned to provide a customized investor relations (IR) capability enhancement program and investment briefing opportunities for 20 promising startups in Pangyo aiming for overseas expansion.

Gyeonggi Province supported a total of 101 one-on-one investment consultations during the 1st to 3rd investment exchange meetings held earlier.

Gyeonggi Province is also operating a ‘Global Accelerating Program’ to support the overseas expansion of Pangyo startups.

Among the 12 companies currently being nurtured, six outstanding companies will participate in SLUSH, the largest startup conference in Northern Europe, held in Finland on the 20th and 21st, where they will conduct investment briefings targeting overseas investors.

Jung Han-gyu, Director of the Advanced Mobility Industry Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, "Pangyo Techno Valley is the optimal place where startups, large corporations, and investors can grow together," adding, "We will continue to generously support global expansion programs and opportunities to meet investors so that Pangyo Techno Valley can be a stepping stone for startups to leap into the global market."
