Shift Up announced on the 12th that its third-quarter sales this year were tentatively estimated at 58 billion KRW, a 52.3% increase compared to the same period last year. Operating profit during the same period surged 120.4% to 35.6 billion KRW. Net profit was 23.5 billion KRW, a 1.9% decrease compared to the same period last year.
Sales by intellectual property (IP) were identified as 34.2 billion KRW for the mobile game "Nike" and 22.6 billion KRW for the console game "Stella Blade." The company explained that Nike maintained a stable monthly active user (MAU) metric, and for Stella Blade, the sales settlement amount was recognized as revenue.
Recently, Shift Up's flagship title Nike received a game service license, known as a Panho, in China. Shift Up stated, "We are considering a release in the first half of next year through collaboration with a global publisher experienced in local service in China."
They added, "Despite a downward stabilization trend in sales for Stella Blade, it continues to sell steadily and maintains public interest through continuous updates. The PC version is targeted for release within next year, and we expect results exceeding those of the console version."
Additionally, the next project, "Project Witches," is aimed for release after 2027, and they are considering unveiling it to users and investors in the first half of next year.
