Mobilizing Police Force, Patrol Cars, and Saika for Traffic and Safety Management
The Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency has launched a comprehensive safety plan for the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) candidates, which will be held in two days.
The provincial police agency began supporting test takers in earnest on the 11th, when the test booklets arrived, by securing the storage facility for the test booklets.
On the day of the exam, 721 police officers, including 11 mobile units, along with 159 patrol cars and 23 police motorcycles (Saika), will be deployed to ensure safety activities.
For transporting the test booklets to the exam sites, one armed police officer will ride together with education office officials and the transport vehicle on each route for joint transportation.
Around the exam sites, 713 traffic police officers, 159 patrol cars, and 23 Saika motorcycles will be stationed from 6 a.m. to prevent traffic congestion, manage traffic, and remove obstacles.

During the entry time, two armed police officers will be stationed around the exam sites, and coordinated patrols will be conducted with nearby district police stations and police boxes until the exam ends.
The 112 emergency call center will prioritize handling complaints related to the CSAT.
So far, no reports of noise-inducing protests near the exam sites on the day of the test have been identified, but rapid response plans are in place for any noise complaints near the exam sites on the day.
From the 14th, the day of the CSAT, until the 17th, between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., 256 mobile patrol officers will be deployed in major youth activity areas to focus on guidance and care activities for youth after the exam.
Additionally, support will be provided for emergency transport vehicles on the day of the CSAT.
For the 2025 CSAT, 30,075 test takers will take the exam in 1,198 testing rooms across 101 schools in the province.
