The Private School Teachers' Pension Service (hereinafter referred to as PSTPS) announced on the 12th that it signed a business agreement on the 11th at its headquarters meeting room in Naju with the nonprofit organization On-gi (hereinafter On-gi Mailbox) to carry out the On-gi Mail Carrier activities that convey the hearts of retired teachers.
On-gi Mailbox is an emotional support service project where anyone in society can anonymously send their concerns and receive a handwritten reply letter in response.
Through this business agreement, both organizations agreed to cooperate in an emotional support project (volunteer activity writing handwritten letters conveying hearts) for citizens suffering from psychological depression by utilizing the expertise and experience of retired teachers.
The main contents of the business agreement include actively cooperating in recruiting and executing personnel for the handwritten letter volunteer activities conveying hearts, preparing in advance for the installation and operation of the On-gi Mailbox, planning and operating programs, providing supplies, and actively cooperating in guidance activities.
Song Hajung, Chairman of PSTPS, said, “Through the collaboration of the two organizations, we have established a mutual information-sharing system necessary for retired teachers’ talent donation and social contribution activities,” adding, “We will strive to build a psychological safety net through connection and empathy among members of society.”
