Lee Beom-jin, head of the LINC 3.0 Project Group at Silla University (President Heo Nam-sik), received the Minister of Education Award at the 2024 Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation EXPO.
Held from the 6th to the 8th at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 in Busan under the theme "Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation, a Solution for Regional Innovation Designing the Future," the event shared outstanding achievements from 323 institutions and discussed future innovation strategies based on industry-academia-research cooperation.

On the 6th, the opening day, during the commendation ceremony for contributors in 12 fields including industry-academia cooperation, entrepreneurship, and research industries, Lee Beom-jin, head of the Silla University LINC 3.0 Project Group, was awarded the Minister of Education Award.
He was recognized for his contributions to university industry-academia-research education and workforce development by operating company demand-customized and society-customized departments, linking industry-academia-research, and running new industry-based convergence and modular fusion majors.
Additionally, he was evaluated as having contributed to the development of industry-academia cooperation by serving as a director of the LINC 3.0 Project Group Council and as chairman of the Cooperation-Based Project Council.
Lee Beom-jin, head of the project group, said, "It is an honor to achieve a successful conclusion as the LINC 3.0 project comes to an end," adding, "I will strive harder so that the RISE system, which follows the 12-year-long LINC project, can wisely overcome the crises currently faced by our region and university."
