Joint Public-Private Patrol Operations Since Last Year

At the ceremony, 14 awardees who actively promoted joint patrols on safe return home paths received commendations from the Mayor of Osan.
Mayor Lee Gwon-jae of Osan said, "Thanks to the efforts of members from 20 social organizations participating in the safe return home paths, Osan City is becoming a place where citizens can live safely and comfortably," expressing gratitude to the awardees.
Since 2023, Osan City has been operating the 'Public-Private-Security Joint Patrol Day for Safe Return Home Paths' on the last Monday of every month to revitalize community policing and create safe nighttime streets.
The joint patrol includes participation from 20 social organizations such as Osan City Safety Guards, Osan Branch of the Child and Youth Protection Association, Gwoldong Happiness Village Management Office, Osan Volunteer Fire Brigade, Foreigners' Security Volunteer Group, Green Mothers' Association, Osan District Committee of the Ministry of Justice Youth Crime Prevention Committee, Sinjang 1-dong Barun Living Committee, Autonomous Crime Prevention Unit, Osan University Department of Police Administration, Safety Instructor Association, and Women Reserve Forces.
