With the razor-thin U.S. presidential election just two days away, Democratic candidate Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican candidate former President Donald Trump are launching a final all-out effort to rally their support bases, focusing on battleground states during the remaining 48 hours. Former President Trump claimed he should not have left the White House in 2020, raising allegations of election fraud and calling for a judgment on the administration, while Vice President Harris appealed to Black voters to "take action" and vote. Since President Joe Biden's withdrawal from the race in late July confirmed the "Harris vs. Trump" matchup, the three-month-long campaign will conclude on the eve of the election, November 4, when both candidates visit Pennsylvania, the most critical battleground state.

Trump "Should Not Have Left White House" Harris "Let's Act"... US Election D-2, Focus on Swing States (Summary)

On November 3 (local time), former President Trump said at an outdoor rally in Lititz, Pennsylvania, "On the day I left, our country had the safest borders in history," adding, "I should not have left." He emphasized, "To be honest, we did so well and were so great."

He described the election as a choice between "another four years of the current incompetence and failure or starting the greatest four years in American history," asserting, "Kamala ruined the American Dream, and we will fix it quickly." Regarding polls showing Harris leading in Iowa, traditionally considered a Trump stronghold, he claimed the results were distorted.

Starting his day in Lititz, former President Trump visited three small towns in battleground states to rally conservative suburban voters, his solid support base. In the afternoon, he held rallies in Kingston, North Carolina, and in the evening, in Macon, Georgia.

Local media analyzed Trump's remarks at the Pennsylvania rally as groundwork for contesting the election results in case of defeat. Previously, after losing the 2020 election, Trump refused to concede and incited his supporters, leading to the January 6 Capitol riot. CNN noted, "Trump repeatedly made baseless claims of election fraud during his Pennsylvania rally," adding, "His Sunday rally remarks appear to be a return to the 2020 playbook, laying the groundwork to challenge the 2024 election results."

Vice President Harris also visited battleground states to court voters. After visiting a Black church in Detroit, Michigan, she campaigned at a barbershop in Pontiac and at Michigan State University in East Lansing, focusing on rallying Black voters in the final stretch.

At the Black church, Harris attended a service and took the stage, saying, "God has a plan for us," describing it as "a plan to heal us and unite us as one nation, a plan for freedom, opportunity, and justice." She added, "In two days, we will have the power to decide the fate of our country for the next generation," urging, "Let's not just talk, but act; not just believe, but walk to the polls and use our power to advance freedom, opportunity, and justice."

On November 4, the day before the election, both candidates will visit Pennsylvania, the most decisive battleground state with 19 electoral votes?the highest among swing states. Pennsylvania voted for former President Trump in 2016 and President Biden in 2020, determining the occupant of the White House. It is considered the most fiercely contested state in the presidential race.

Vice President Harris will campaign in Pennsylvania's major cities, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, on November 4. In Allentown, Pennsylvania, she plans to appeal to Latino voters through support performances by Puerto Rican rappers Fat Joe and Frankie Negron. This comes amid controversy from the previous weekend when a Trump campaign speaker at a New York rally referred to the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico as a "trash island," indicating an effort to win immigrant votes. After visiting Pennsylvania on the final day of campaigning, former President Trump will hold his last rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

As the U.S. presidential election unfolds in an unpredictable, razor-thin race, both sides remain tense until the end, intensifying their attacks on each other. On the morning of November 3, former President Trump posted on his social media platform Truth Social, "If Kamala wins, a 1929-style economic depression will begin within three days," adding, "If I win, within three days we will have the best jobs, the highest wages, and the brightest economic future the world has ever seen." Vice President Harris, at a rally in Atlanta the previous day, said, "Do not doubt that we will win," and criticized Trump, saying, "This election gives us the chance to end Donald Trump's decade. He has done everything to divide us and make us fear each other."
