Weekend Daytime 8-Car Pileup at Gangnam Station... 6 Injured

An 8-vehicle pileup occurred near Gangnam Station in Seoul during the weekend daytime, injuring more than six people.

According to the police on the 2nd, at around 1:42 PM, an 8-vehicle collision happened on the road heading toward Gangnam Station near the Kukkiwon entrance on Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. More than six people were injured, and eight vehicles were damaged in the accident.

According to witnesses, the driver of the offending vehicle, a woman in her 20s, did not exit the vehicle after the accident and was arrested on the spot by the police who arrived at the scene.

A police official stated, "The investigation is still ongoing."
