Sangmyung University Cheonan Campus Alumni Faculty Association Continues 14 Years of Scholarships Supporting Juniors

Scholarships Worth 17.4 Million Won Awarded to 42 Students

The tradition of alumni professors at Sangmyung University Cheonan Campus supporting their juniors has continued for 14 years.

The university announced on the 30th that alumni professors currently on faculty have awarded scholarships totaling 17.4 million KRW to 42 enrolled students.

For 14 years, the Alumni Professors' Association has collected the "Love for Students, Love for Juniors" scholarship every month and delivered it to students who serve as role models in university life. To date, a total of 370.1 million KRW has been awarded to 623 students.

Kim Bokyung, president of the Alumni Professors' Association, said, "I hope that students will have a vibrant university life toward the future through scholarships prepared by their professors, who are both teachers and seniors," adding, "I also hope that one day, as admirable seniors, they will pass on this love to their juniors."
