A chemical substance leak occurred at a parking lot in downtown Gwangju.
According to Yonhap News, around 5:05 PM on the 28th, a mixed chemical substance containing aluminum powder, which was loaded on a cargo truck, fell from the cargo bed and leaked at a public parking lot in Usan-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju.
Fire and environmental authorities have blocked access to the surrounding area and are managing the scene.
There have been no casualties from this incident, and authorities are investigating the toxicity of the chemical substance and the cause of the leak.
