On the 25th, LS Electric announced that Green Voice held their 5th regular performance the previous day at Konkuk University's Millennium Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
During the concert, the Green Voice choir performed solo. The performance conveyed a message that prejudices against people with disabilities can be broken and that with the power of positivity and hope, "Impossible" can be changed to "I'm possible." The show consisted of choir singing and musical acting.
Green Voice reinterpreted songs and selected familiar tunes so that general audiences could easily enjoy the performance.
They sang 19 songs, including the hopeful Italian song "Volare" and "White-bearded Whale," which centers on courage and comfort.
An LS Electric official said, "The members of Green Voice conveyed love and support with their warm voices, which must have deeply moved the audience," adding, "We will fulfill our social responsibility by preparing various programs to promote social participation and talent development of artists with disabilities."
Founded in May last year, Green Voice is composed of musicians with severe developmental disabilities. The name Green Voice reflects LS Electric, Korea's leading smart energy company, opening the future of sustainable eco-friendly green energy with the voices of its employees.
Based on its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management philosophy, LS Electric hires choir members as employees and supports them to engage in stable musical activities. This is to realize expanded employment for people with disabilities, vocational rehabilitation, and improved social awareness through culture and the arts.
