"Person Intoxicated by Drugs and Alcohol" Reported
The sudden death of Liam Payne, former member of the group One Direction, has been reported, and the autopsy results have been released.
On the 21st (local time), according to local media including ABC News, multiple drugs including crack, cocaine, and benzodiazepines were detected in Liam Payne's body during the autopsy. Additionally, pink cocaine, a mixture of methamphetamine, ketamine, and MDMA, was also found. Tools used for drug administration were discovered in the hotel room where he stayed, and the direct cause of death was confirmed as multiple hemorrhages.
Earlier, Payne died after falling from the balcony on the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on the 16th. Police stated that it appears he jumped from the balcony due to hallucinations caused by drug use. Some witnesses reported that "he showed abnormal behavior several hours before his death" and "was seen breaking a laptop." Another guest testified that they "witnessed a dispute over money with a woman in the hotel lobby." When Payne exhibited abnormal behavior, hotel staff reported to the police, saying "there is a person intoxicated with drugs and alcohol" and requested assistance. About seven minutes later, when the police arrived at the hotel, Payne had already fallen.
Meanwhile, Payne was born in the UK in 1993 and debuted as a vocalist of One Direction in 2011. He has one son with his ex-wife Cheryl.
