Dong-Eui University Semiconductor Technology Officer Training Project Group, Power Semiconductor Commercialization Center Industry Training

Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do) Semiconductor Technology Officer Training Project Group conducted an industrial training at the Power Semiconductor Commercialization Center from September 25 to 26.

The Technical Officer Training Project Team of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology participated in the training at the Power Semiconductor Commercialization Center under the Semiconductor Sector Technical Officer Training Project.

This training was held at the Busan Technopark Power Semiconductor Commercialization Center and aimed to cultivate professional personnel through in-depth education and practice on semiconductor design, manufacturing, testing, and power semiconductor technology for participating students.

On this day, 19 third-year high school students (Daegwang High School and Dong-Eui High School) participating in the Semiconductor Technology Officer Training Project Group, along with 7 supervisors including high school teachers and professors from the Department of Semiconductor Electronics Industry, participated. On the first day, September 25, students from Daegwang High School received education and practice, and on the 26th, students from Dong-Eui High School participated in education and practice.

The "Technology Officer Training Project" aims to cultivate excellent professional technical personnel who play a pivotal role in core industries such as automobiles, machinery, electronics, and semiconductors through linked education among specialized high schools, junior colleges, and industries. Since 2010, it has operated industry-demand customized curricula to nurture professional technical personnel.

Kim Dae-kyung, head of the Semiconductor Technology Officer Project Group at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, said, "This training provided participating students with an opportunity to practice semiconductor equipment operation, manufacturing processes, and acquire semiconductor knowledge, enhancing their understanding of the job." He added, "We will strive further to produce many excellent talents in semiconductor-related fields through successful project execution in the future."

Dong-Eui Institute of Technology was selected as a Semiconductor Technology Officer Training Project Group in 2022, with Daegwang High School and Dong-Eui High School participating as partner high schools. The project is operated in cooperation with 25 small and medium-sized enterprises, including Generssem and Hurim Robot.
