‘The Sharp Sinpung Station,’ located in Singil-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, is recruiting cooperative members on a first-come, first-served basis. With POSCO E&C, a top-tier construction company, confirmed as the contractor, and the location offering excellent transportation, education, convenience facilities, green spaces, and future value, it has attracted significant attention.


The Sharp Sinpung Station is a large complex consisting of 16 buildings ranging from 3 basement floors to 35 above-ground floors, with a total of 2,030 households sized between 51 and 84 square meters. It is characterized by a composition of medium and small-sized units preferred by buyers. The number of households by exclusive area is ▲51㎡: 568 units ▲59㎡: 924 units ▲74㎡: 319 units ▲84㎡: 219 units.


The eligibility criteria for cooperative members require that all household members, including the head of the household, must be either homeless or own only one unit of 85㎡ or less as of the cooperative establishment approval application date. Additionally, the head of the household (aged 20 or older) must have continuously resided in Seoul, Gyeonggi, or Incheon for at least six months prior to the application date. Furthermore, neither the applicant nor their spouse can be members of another regional housing cooperative or workplace housing cooperative to qualify.


A cooperative official stated, “Since we have signed a construction contract with POSCO E&C, a top-tier construction company, expectations for the product quality are high.”


POSCO E&C ranked 7th in the 2024 Construction Capability Evaluation announced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. POSCO E&C’s ‘The Sharp’ brand has been recognized as a residential brand, winning first place in brand customer loyalty for seven consecutive years (co-hosted by the Korea Consumer Forum and Brand Keys, USA) and ranking first 14 times in the Korean Quality Satisfaction Index (hosted by the Korean Standards Association).


The Sharp Sinpung Station, constructed by POSCO E&C and supplied as a The Sharp brand apartment, will feature designs aimed at enhancing residents’ housing satisfaction. Notably, a state-of-the-art complex community (planned) will be established within the complex, attracting attention. Facilities will include a kids/moms caf?, clubhouse, male/female reading rooms, a book caf? (library), and various cultural facilities for all households to enjoy together, as well as fitness centers, GX rooms, indoor golf practice ranges, and screen golf facilities to promote residents’ health.


The location is also a point of pride. It is situated in the immediate vicinity of the planned Sinpung Station on the Sinansan Line, scheduled to open in 2026, which will allow travel to Yeouido in just three stops once operational. Sinpung Station on Line 7 and Daerim Station on Line 2 are also within walking distance. From Sinpung Station on Line 7, it takes about 10 minutes without transfers to reach Express Bus Terminal Station, and from Daerim Station on Line 2, about 10 minutes to Gangnam Station. Additionally, Yeongdeungpo Station, which offers access to Line 1 and KTX, is nearby.


For those using vehicles, the location offers excellent accessibility to key business districts via a comprehensive transportation network including Nambu Beltway, Seobu Expressway, Gyeongin Road, and Olympic Boulevard, making it highly attractive as a residence close to workplaces.


Regarding the educational environment, Dosin Kindergarten and Dosin Elementary School are located right next to the complex, allowing safe commuting for young children. Additionally, many schools such as Daeyeong Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, Yeongnam Middle School, and Yeongsin High School are clustered within walking distance. Nearby green spaces like Boramae Park, Singil Neighborhood Park, and Dorimcheon Stream contribute to a pleasant living environment.


The location also shares the central commercial area of Singil New Town and the Sindorim-Yeongdeungpo living zone, providing abundant living infrastructure. Right in front of the complex, the Singil New Town redevelopment project is underway. This project is a redevelopment promotion initiative aimed at improving urban functions by enhancing the residential environment and expanding infrastructure in the Singil-dong area, which was densely packed with deteriorated buildings. High-rise new brand apartments are steadily being built in this area, transforming it into an emerging residential district, with The Sharp Sinpung Station, adjacent to Singil New Town, considered the biggest beneficiary. In particular, The Sharp Sinpung Station is supplied at a reasonable price compared to surrounding market prices, making it advantageous in terms of value appreciation.
