Strengthening Sense of Belonging and Unity as Public Officials
Hamyang County in Gyeongnam Province announced on the 16th that it conducted an on-site learning program called 'Getting to Know Hamyang' for newly appointed public officials.
This field trip was organized to strengthen the sense of belonging and camaraderie among new public servants and to emphasize that understanding the region is essential for creative and responsible administration.
On this day, County Governor Jin Byeongyeong also participated, personally introducing the area and leading the field trip while communicating with the new officials.
Starting with Sangnim Park, a major tourist attraction in the county, participants explored Hamyang's historical heritage sites such as Namgye Seowon, Gaepyeong Hanok Village, and Odosae, and had the opportunity to experience their cultural value firsthand.
The participants shared their impressions, saying, "Through this field trip, we were able to visit and experience the region's representative attractions and learn a lot about Hamyang's history and culture. As Hamyang County officials, we will take pride in our work and strive to contribute to the development of the region."
Governor Jin encouraged the new officials, stating, "If you deeply understand Hamyang's culture and sentiments and feel affection and responsibility for the region, it will serve as an important foundation for a bright future for Hamyang County."
Meanwhile, at 2 p.m. that day, an appointment ceremony was held at Hamyang County Office for 29 newly appointed officials, marking the beginning of their journey as Hamyang County public servants dedicated to the development of the county and the happiness of its residents.
