Title Track Cherish and More Showcase 'Eongttungballal' Charm
Mini Album 2nd ‘I'll Like You’ Released on 21st at 6 PM
Group Aileit has previewed parts of all the tracks from their new album, promising a 'powerful addiction.'
Aileit (Yoona, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha) uploaded a highlight medley video of their mini 2nd album 'I'LL LIKE YOU' on HYBE Labels' YouTube channel on the 13th.
The video features snippets of the five songs included in the new release, along with typography of each song title played with in various ways by Aileit. The members jump between letters and compete to create hearts using the title designs, showcasing their quirky and lively charm, making it enjoyable to watch.
The title track 'Cherish (My Love)' draws the most attention. 'Cherish' is a dance pop song that reflects Aileit's honest and confident charm. It sings about being curious about your heart, but more importantly, treasuring my heart that likes you. Combined with Aileit's clear vocals and the catchy melody "Ch ch ch ch cherish my love," it predicts the birth of another hit following their debut song 'Magnetic.'
The album's title track 'I'LL LIKE YOU' is a medium pop song featuring a lovely melody, delivering a pleasant energy from the very first track. Additionally, 'IYKYK (If You Know You Know)' is presented in a lively 2-step garage genre. Using the slang term meaning 'you know?' popular on SNS platforms like TikTok, the lyrics interestingly express that you can understand the charm of the person you like without having to say it.
Furthermore, 'Pimple,' which applies my worries and complicated feelings to pimples, heightens Aileit's dreamy atmosphere. The final track 'Tick-Tack,' a pop genre song capturing the noisy and ever-changing inner thoughts, fully embodies Aileit's unique sensibility.
Aileit's mini 2nd album 'I'LL LIKE YOU' will be released on the 21st at 6 PM. Ahead of this, Aileit plans to release music video teasers on the 18th and 20th, respectively.
