Delivery app Yogiyo announced on the 26th that it showed positive results just one month after lowering the basic order brokerage fee to 9.7%.
In August, Yogiyo introduced the ‘Yogiyo Light’ pricing plan, reducing the basic brokerage fee to 9.7%. The basic fee can be lowered to as much as 4.7% depending on the sales performance of each store. Since the launch of the ‘Yogiyo Light’ plan, the number of new store sign-ups has increased by 16.6%. For ‘Yogiyo Light,’ delivery fees are 100% supported regardless of the delivery type. Yogiyo explained that this can reduce the delivery fee burden for small businesses with high demand for ‘store delivery.’
The number of users of the ‘Discount Ranking,’ which was expanded nationwide in July, also increased by 18.6%. ‘Discount Ranking’ is a ‘limited quantity time sale’ promotion that offers customers high discount benefits and allows restaurant owners to promote their stores without advertising costs, receiving positive evaluations. Stores participating in Discount Ranking can display their store name and discounted menu items on the app’s top banner without any additional fees.
A Yogiyo representative said, "We will enhance the competitiveness unique to Yogiyo Light and continue to create an environment for mutual growth."
