Hamyang County identified local transfer projects to be promoted next year through budget securing briefings for national and provincial funds held in February and April 2025. The county has continuously shared the progress of key projects by department and made efforts to reflect them in the budget, including visits by department heads to the relevant departments in Gyeongnam Province.

The local transfer projects proposed this time total 38 projects (13 new, 25 ongoing) with a total project cost of 173.6 billion KRW.

The main proposed projects include: ▲ Seosang Sports Park Construction Project (5.8 billion KRW) ▲ Hamyang County Small Cinema Construction Project (2.9 billion KRW) ▲ Anui and Yulim District Rural Living Water Development Project (13.6 billion KRW) ▲ Jirisan View Park Observatory Construction Project (4.0 billion KRW), among others.

Governor Jin stated, "Securing funds for local transfer projects is essential to invigorate the local economy and establish a foundation for sustainable growth," and added, "We ask for your active cooperation to improve the quality of life for residents and boost the vitality of the local industrial economy."

Meanwhile, local transfer projects are initiatives that transfer the authority to allocate budgets for government-subsidized projects to local governments and compensate with national funds, as part of the government's fiscal decentralization plan. Local governments can autonomously allocate budgets according to local conditions within the scope of the law.
