'Wapu' Festival Kicks Off on the 4th Next Month
Three Days Around Gosan Natural Recreation Forest

This year, Jang Minho and Park Myungsoo will visit the Wanju Wild and Local Food Festival. Park Myungsoo is making his second visit following last year.

According to Wanju-gun, Jeonbuk, the 12th Wanju Wild and Local Food Festival will be held for three days from October 4 to 6 around the Gosan Natural Recreation Forest area.

The festival will kick off on the 4th with an opening performance by Jang Minho and Bae Ahhyun. On the 5th, Park Myungsoo and Cherry Filter will take over with the Wild Music Party. On the final day, the closing performance will be held by Wanju ambassador Go Seonghyun and La Classe, wrapping up the event.

Delicious food is also an essential part of the vibrant festival. Local dining tables featuring various menus prepared by village chefs from 13 towns and townships in Wanju will be set up. The local market selling healthy and fresh agricultural specialties from Wanju, along with various food booths, will make the festival even richer.

Wild trekking blended with nature, tree extreme activities, grasshopper catching experiences, barehanded fish catching in Sirangcheon Stream, Wapu Water Running Man, water ball, and water roller offer active and refreshing experiences unique to the Wapu Festival.

Additionally, participating in various event programs such as the Children's Nature Drawing Contest, Shinbaram Gymnastics Competition, Wapu Treasure Hunt, and the 1:8 Go game with 9-dan Lee Changho will make the festival even more enjoyable.

Yoo Heetae, the governor of Wanju-gun, said, "We have prepared a variety of more fun and tastier programs," adding, "Under the cool autumn sky, I hope families, couples, and friends enjoy the festival and create unforgettable memories."
