Selectable Amount and Quantity
On the 23rd, it was revealed that the most popular stocks in Samsung Securities' 'Stock Accumulation' service, which opened last August, are Samsung Electronics domestically and Nvidia internationally.
The Stock Accumulation service allows customers to automatically accumulate selected stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in desired amounts on chosen dates.
By setting preferred stocks, amounts or quantities, and purchase frequency rules through accounts such as Comprehensive (Account 01), Foreign Currency Bank-linked (Account 02), Brokerage-type ISA (Account 14), and Pension Savings (Account 15), automatic purchase orders are executed.
Accumulation is possible not only for domestic stocks including ETFs but also for overseas stocks including ETFs and exchange-traded notes (ETNs) from 10 countries. These countries are the United States, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Portugal. Customers can subscribe via the Samsung Securities mobile app mPOP or at Samsung Securities branches.
Samsung Securities' Stock Accumulation service allows easy registration through steps such as ▲selecting the stock to accumulate (only one stock can be selected at a time), ▲setting accumulation rules, and ▲final confirmation. Afterwards, detailed accumulated stock accumulation status can be checked in 'My Accumulation Status.'
Analysis of customers who joined the Stock Accumulation service since its launch in August shows that the most popular domestic stocks are Samsung Electronics, Macquarie Infrastructure, and Hyundai Motor Preferred Shares (Hyundai Motor 2 Preferred B). Among overseas stocks, Nvidia, Realty Income, and Tesla ranked high.
Samsung Securities plans to additionally provide a 'Currently Most Popular Accumulation Stocks' ranking service in the future.
However, investors should be aware that financial investment products carry the risk of principal loss.
