Accused of Quasi-Forced Indecent Assault on the 15th

AfreecaTV BJ Pai, known for appearing on web entertainment shows such as 'Money Game' and 'Blood Game 2,' claimed that he was sexually harassed by a married man.

On the 19th, Pai announced on his AfreecaTV channel notice, "I have a serious story to share," and revealed, "I was sexually harassed on the 14th." The accused, Mr. A, was someone he only knew by name and face from a public setting, with no personal relationship or contact information.

"On the day of the incident, after drinking at a group dinner, I called a designated driver and planned to return to a hotel I had reserved. However, when I opened my eyes, I was in my car, and Mr. A was touching my chest from above. Startled, I pushed him away and stepped back, trying to understand the situation by asking why he was there and where we were, but Mr. A gave absurd excuses and then drove back to the hotel," he explained.

"After calling witnesses including my companions, the designated driver, and hotel staff to ask about the situation and checking nearby CCTV and the car’s black box, it was confirmed that Mr. A told the group he was going home right after I left with the driver, but then went straight to the hotel I had reserved. When my car arrived at the hotel, he claimed to be part of the group and said he would take care of me, sent the driver away, drove my car outside the hotel, and sexually harassed me by touching my chest while I was asleep," he wrote.

"Currently, Mr. A claims he came to take care of me because I was too drunk to get home safely," Pai said. "We barely knew each other by face, and he lied to the group about going home, secretly listened to and found out the hotel information I hadn’t shared, came to the hotel without waking me, drove my car outside while I was asleep, and touched me. This situation is completely incomprehensible from a common-sense perspective." He also emphasized, "Mr. A is a married man, and I still cannot understand why he committed such a crime against me."

"Afterward, I suffered great mental pain and shock and had to receive psychiatric treatment," he said. "I am very afraid and scared because I know well that this incident will cause me to be the subject of rumors and suffering, but Mr. A’s shameless attitude made it impossible for me to ignore this incident." He added, "Since rumors are already spreading little by little, I thought it was my duty to speak clearly about this incident."

Pai stated that he filed a complaint against Mr. A on the 15th for quasi-forcible sexual assault, and that detailed evidence will be submitted during the investigation and trial process.
