This agreement includes the introduction of a shopping voucher system during the four-month pilot operation of the park golf course at Hanmaeum Hill within Wolsong Headquarters, support for improving the shopping district environment, autonomous efforts by the shops, and active cooperation with Wolsong Headquarters on pending issues.
The shopping voucher system is a type of local currency where park golf course users pay a certain fee and receive shopping vouchers of the same value. The introduction of this system is expected to directly boost sales at affiliated shops in the neighboring villages.
Additionally, Imi Sook, the owner of Jinburyeong Restaurant, who improved her restaurant's tables and wallpaper through the shopping district environment improvement project, said, "In my 17 years of business here, this is the first time we've received such support for the shopping district," and added, "We will strive to upgrade our food, hygiene, and service to match our cleaner restaurant."
Kim Hanseong, Head of Wolsong Headquarters, stated, "Improving the shopping district environment is essential, and the neighboring villages should have a closer relationship with the headquarters for mutual growth," and added, "I hope you see this agreement and support not as the end, but as the beginning of significant change."
During the communication meeting held after the agreement signing, Kim Hanseong also asked for broad community interest regarding the continued operation of Wolsong Units 2, 3, and 4, which is a key issue for both the headquarters and the local region.
