An absurd story has been reported about receiving adult products that were not purchased along with snacks for children ordered from an online shopping mall.
On the 11th, JTBC's 'Sageon Banjang' introduced a report from Mr. A, who experienced a bizarre incident after purchasing snacks through a large online shopping mall.
On the 9th, Mr. A ordered three snacks for his children through an online shopping mall. However, when he opened the delivery box the next day, he was shocked. Inside the box, along with the two snacks he originally ordered, there was one adult product that he did not order.
When the surprised Mr. A contacted customer service, the representative apologized but said, "It is too broad to trace back the packaging staff," and added, "Because of this, it is difficult to take cautionary measures against the packaging staff involved."
In response, Mr. A told 'Sageon Banjang,' "It was embarrassing that snacks for children and adult products were delivered together. I trust the shopping mall when I order, so I hope this never happens again."
Netizens who read the story reacted with comments such as, "What if a child had seen it?", "It must have been hard to explain if opened in front of others," "Quietly post it on Danggeun Market and buy more snacks with that money," "Which shopping mall is this? I want to order too," "Seems like a simple packaging mistake," "Large shopping malls often have misdeliveries," and "Why doesn't such luck come to me?"
Meanwhile, on the 10th, the Korea Consumer Agency and the Fair Trade Commission issued a consumer damage advisory related to delivery during the Chuseok holiday. They recommended, "Since demand for delivery surges right before the holiday, there is a possibility of accidents such as product damage, loss, and delivery delays. Please consider the period when delivery volume is concentrated when requesting delivery and keep proof documents such as waybills and purchase receipts."
