5 Emergency Rooms Including Hanlim University Dongtan Seongsim Hospital Operate 24 Hours
City Urges "Mild Patients to Use Nearby Clinics and Hospitals"
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 11th that it will operate an emergency medical response plan from the 14th to the 18th during the Chuseok holiday period to minimize medical inconveniences for citizens and ensure that critically ill patients receive prompt treatment.
The city explained that during this period, the regional emergency medical center, Hallym University Dongtan Sacred Heart Hospital, along with regional emergency medical institutions Hwaseong Central General Hospital, Hwaseong DS Hospital, Wonkwang General Hospital, and the emergency medical facility Hwaseong Yuil Hospital, will operate their emergency rooms 24 hours a day.
Additionally, Dongtan St. Mary's Hospital, a moonlight children's hospital, Best Kids Hospital, and vulnerable area pediatric night and holiday clinics such as Welbom BF Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic and Good Morning Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic, as well as public late-night pharmacies including Healthy Onnuri Pharmacy (Bongdam), Songsan Angel Pharmacy (Saesol-dong), Easy Pharmacy (Dongtan), and Parang Pharmacy (Dongtan), have been designated as on-duty medical institutions to support citizens in receiving uninterrupted medical services.
The city plans to provide information on hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies operating during the holiday period through the city health center website, social networking services (SNS), and text messages to help citizens conveniently find medical institutions. In emergency situations, information on emergency rooms and medical institutions operating during the holiday period can also be checked through the 'Emergency Medical Portal (E-Gen)' and the 'Emergency Medical Information Service' app.
Jung Myung-geun, mayor of Hwaseong City, emphasized, "The cooperation of local residents during the holiday period is crucial for the smooth operation of emergency rooms," and urged, "Please use nearby neighborhood clinics and pharmacies for minor symptoms."
