The Prosecution Investigation Deliberation Committee, which reviewed the case of Mrs. Kim Geon-hee receiving a luxury handbag, resolved on the 6th to recommend non-prosecution for all charges against Mrs. Kim.

The Supreme Prosecutors' Office announced that the committee deliberated on the agenda regarding the suspect Kim Geon-hee's ▲Violation of the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act (violation of the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, bribery, abuse of authority, obstruction of evidence) and whether to indict or dismiss the case ▲and the suspect Kim Geon-hee's related case involving Violation of the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes (acceptance of brokerage fees) and Violation of the Attorney-at-Law Act, and whether to indict or dismiss based on legal grounds , concluding with a resolution to recommend non-prosecution for all charges including Violation of the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes (acceptance of brokerage fees) and Violation of the Attorney-at-Law Act.

The Supreme Prosecutors' Office stated, "The committee decided to review the opinion letter submitted by Choi Jae-young together and comprehensively deliberated the opinions of the investigation team and the defense counsel," adding, "We hereby announce this in accordance with the resolution of the Prosecution Investigation Deliberation Committee."
