Yeom Don-ung Wins Golfzon G Tour Mixed Cup Championship

Yeom Don-ung won the mixed-gender All-Star match, the ‘2024 Ollizio G Tour Mixed Cup (GTOUR MIXED CUP).’

In the final second round of the Ollizio tournament held on the 2nd at Daejeon Golfzon Joymaru, he shot 11 under par to claim the top spot (20 under par). This marks his third win on the G Tour. Along with the 15 million won prize money, he earned a spot in the Korea Professional Golf (KPGA) Tour Golfzon-Doray Open, which will take place from the 12th to the 15th at Golfzon County Seonsan in Gumi, Gyeongbuk.

Yeom Don-ung exclaimed, "It’s hard to believe since it’s my first win in a long time since 2019, but after steadily working hard following my putting yips, I was able to achieve a good result." This was the second mixed screen golf tour held this season. Eighty male and female pros active on the G Tour participated, and the event was conducted in ToBeVision NX Tour mode without a cut-off. It was a 36-hole stroke play format over two rounds on the 1st. Except for the men’s and women’s tee box handicaps, the tournament was held under the same conditions as a regular competition. The course revealed on the day of the event was Pine Beach Golf Links.
