Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) will build a senior comprehensive welfare center in Magok District, which boasts excellent living infrastructure such as transportation and commercial facilities. The Magok Senior Comprehensive Welfare Center will be constructed on 743-2 Magok-dong, with a total floor area of approximately 2,732㎡, consisting of one basement floor and four above-ground floors.
On the afternoon of the 30th, the district held a 'Magok Senior Comprehensive Welfare Center Construction Donation Agreement Ceremony' with the E-Land Consortium in the district office's main conference room. The ceremony was attended by Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon, Park Hyun-joon, CEO of the E-Land Consortium, and other officials from the district and E-Land Group. The E-Land Consortium will build the facility, and Gangseo-gu will receive ownership from E-Land and manage and operate it.
The welfare center will include spaces for hobbies and education such as a senior cafeteria, cafeteria, program rooms, a large auditorium, an informatization education room, and a physical therapy room. Construction will begin next month, with the center scheduled to open in April 2026.
Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon said, “I am very pleased to be able to build a much-needed senior comprehensive welfare center in Magok-dong, where senior welfare facilities are lacking compared to other areas,” and added, “I deeply thank E-Land Group for their great efforts in reaching the donation agreement.”
