Sharing Opinions on Creating Healthy Student Communities at School
Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Youngdo) announced on the 19th that it held the '2024 Summer Student Council Executive Training Camp' at the Jeju Halla University Training Center from the 12th to the 14th.
This executive training camp was organized to provide education that enables student council executives to faithfully fulfill their roles. A total of 31 students and faculty members attended, including the Dean of Student Welfare, the Student Council President, and the Speaker of the Representative Council.
The event consisted of programs such as ▲Udo tour ▲Discussions on university and student council operations ▲Education on the roles and leadership of student executives ▲Student council feedback and meetings ▲Local tour in Jeju ▲Student event safety education ▲Group unity activities.
Through this, the executives built camaraderie, shared ideas and strategies, and took time to consider directions for the school and students. It was also a meaningful opportunity to develop the leadership and qualities necessary for dedicating themselves to a healthy student society.
Kim Sungwon, Dean of Student Welfare at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, said, "This student council executive training camp was organized to foster a sense of community with student representatives and to cultivate youth values such as cooperation and service," and added, "We will continue to create opportunities for communication through meaningful executive training camps like this."
