Providing Hands-on Experience in Mobility Planning, Design, and Production
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Daegu Catholic University and the RIS Mobility Digital Transformation Project Group held the 3rd Future Mobility Summer Camp for 40 high school students from the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Daegu Catholic University and the RIS Mobility Digital Transformation Project Group held the "3rd Future Mobility Summer Camp" for 40 high school students from the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions.
This camp, held as part of the Local Government-University Cooperation-Based Regional Innovation Project, took place over two days from the 8th to the 9th at Hotel Interburgo Daegu.
The summer camp was designed to enhance students' understanding of the future mobility industry and provide hands-on development experience from planning and designing to manufacturing mobility solutions.
The program included seminars on the latest mobility trends, practical makers training, driving tests, and competitions.
Yoon Hyunjung, head of the RIS Mobility Digital Transformation Project Group, said, "We hope that students who participated in this camp will have the opportunity to experience the various possibilities of the future mobility industry firsthand and nurture their dreams in related fields. This event also reaffirmed the university's role and contribution in fostering future mobility talent in the local community."
Daegu Catholic University plans to continue collaborating with the local community to provide students with practical learning opportunities and to develop various programs that support the advancement of regional industries.
