Support for Lunchboxes for Children in Welfare Blind Spots
Establishing and Expanding a Sustainable Support System
The social contribution network Happy Alliance announced on the 14th that it has signed the 'Happy Dookki Project' agreement with Tongyeong City in Gyeongnam and Hampyeong County in Jeonnam, respectively, to address the issue of child hunger in welfare blind spots.
This project is a collaboration between companies, local governments, ordinary citizens, and communities to provide nutritious lunchboxes to children in welfare blind spots.

Tongyeong City plans to provide a total of 13,200 meals to 25 children at risk of hunger in the area, while Hampyeong County will provide a total of 10,400 meals to 40 children. Member companies of Happy Alliance donate the costs of lunchbox production, and the Happy Lunchbox Social Cooperative is responsible for manufacturing and delivering the lunchboxes.
Tongyeong City and Hampyeong County will actively identify children at risk of hunger in their regions to include them as beneficiaries, and even after the support ends, they plan to incorporate the supported children into the meal service system to establish a support framework.
