New Models Targeting Newlyweds and Middle-Aged Couples Introduced
Modular Designs Rarely Seen in Leather Sofas Also Unveiled

Shinsegae Casa's ‘Casamia’ (CASAMIA) is set to launch a large number of new leather sofa products ahead of the peak season for autumn weddings and moving.

Casamia announced on the 13th that it will release a 3-seater sofa called ‘Broom’ in mid-month.

Broom is a model targeted at newlyweds, emphasizing a neat and clean silhouette. It applies the optimal proportions that visually convey stability and beauty. The backrest is designed as a mid-back style that rises to just below the shoulders, providing comfort when seated. It uses ‘Italian bull leather’ developed in-house by Shinsegae Casa.

The ‘Coben’, launching at the end of this month, is a high-back style sofa favored by middle-aged and older customers. It features a backrest high enough to rest the head, a wide seat cushion, and armrests shaped like pillows, allowing comfortable postures whether sitting or lying down. It uses in-house developed Italian leather and adds sophistication with sleek legs.

In October, ‘Basto’ and ‘Basel’ will be introduced sequentially. Basto is a leather modular sofa that can be freely combined and expanded. Its advantage is the ability to fill large spaces as desired. It also features a swing-back design that allows the backrest to be pushed back to widen the seat cushion, making it usable as a daybed.

Basel is a sofa with a bold form that has recently gained popularity in Europe. It is characterized by soft and natural curves and a wide, soft seat cushion.
