KCCI announced on the 9th that it will host the "1st Korea Social Value Festa" on the 12th of next month at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. More than 180 organizations from the government, private sector, and academia will participate in the event. Participating organizations will jointly seek solutions to social problems at the venue and introduce and sell various products at the market within the event space.

In addition to the opening and leaders' summit events, 18 major institutions from academia, the private sector, and non-profits will hold seminars, discussions, and case presentations.

Exhibition and promotional booths will feature group affiliates such as SK, LG, POSCO, Kakao, Hoban, Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance, and BGF, as well as government and public sector organizations including the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Korea East-West Power, and the Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation. About 130 organizations from academia, associations, social enterprises, and social ventures will also participate. Each booth will showcase various activities and ideas related to climate change response, local job creation, and support for vulnerable groups.

Large corporations and social ventures will create a "value consumption experience space." Participants can experience and purchase content and products related to sustainable lifestyles at over 50 markets.

Park Il-jun, Executive Vice Chairman of KCCI, said, "This will be the largest domestic event where all stakeholders working to solve social problems gather in one place," adding, "We hope it will encourage each other's efforts and provide new ideas and opportunities for collaboration."

Applications to attend the event can be made online through the event board on the KCCI website.
