Gyeongsang National University and Gyeongnam Tourism Foundation Sign Business Agreement for Regional Win-Win Development

Gyeongsang National University announced on the 7th that it has signed a business agreement with the Gyeongnam Tourism Foundation to foster specialized industries for leading and mutually beneficial development in the local community.


The agreement ceremony held on the 5th, attended by Kwon Jin-hoe, President of Gyeongsang National University, Hwang Hee-gon, CEO of the Gyeongnam Tourism Foundation, and officials from both organizations, was organized to share technology and human resources in specialized industries and establish a cooperative system for mutual development.

Both organizations agreed to cooperate on △ activating regional development-linked collaboration for the promotion of the Glocal University 30 project △ developing programs in the regional specialized tourism industry and jointly cooperating to revitalize the local economy △ industry-academia-research cooperation in the regional specialized tourism industry for value creation △ sharing various information and utilizing experts for mutual growth △ nurturing local talent, creating jobs, and improving conditions for regional settlement.


President Kwon Jin-hoe stated, “We will continuously provide the university’s professional human and material capabilities to develop and foster the regional specialized tourism industry,” adding, “We expect the leading role and mutual development of the local community through close cooperation between the two organizations.”


CEO Hwang Hee-gon also responded, “In cooperation with Gyeongsang National University, we will actively nurture excellent personnel in related fields and devote ourselves to creating jobs for youth.”
