Actress Jeon Do-yeon said she felt "uncomfortable" about appearing on 'Pinggego,' sparking a heated debate among netizens.

On the 5th, Jeon Do-yeon participated in an interview related to the release of the movie 'Revolver.' During the interview, when asked about her recent variety show appearances such as 'Pinggego' and 'Yojeong Jaehyung,' she replied, "(Variety show appearances) still feel a bit uncomfortable," adding, "I had only briefly met Jaehyung Jung before on 'Banggu-seok 1-yeol,' so I was quite worried, but he made it comfortable, so I felt more at ease than on 'Pinggego.'"

Previously, on the 27th of last month, Jeon Do-yeon appeared on the web variety show 'Pinggego,' hosted by Yoo Jae-suk. Jeon Do-yeon and Yoo Jae-suk are classmates from the Seoul Institute of the Arts, class of '91, but their awkward interactions amused viewers.

The controversial part was her remarks about appearing on 'Pinggego.' Jeon Do-yeon said, "It was really uncomfortable. People call it a 'concept,' but honestly, it was truly uncomfortable," explaining, "I'm not good at reactions, and Yoo Jae-suk tried hard to lead, but watching that was not comfortable." She also stated, "I've never had a private conversation with Yoo Jae-suk. We're just college classmates. Then Yoo Jae-suk became a top MC, and I became an actress. That's the fact of how we met."

Jeon Do-yeon's comment about feeling "uncomfortable" sparked controversy among netizens. Some criticized her remarks as rude, leaving comments such as, "If I were Yoo Jae-suk, I'd really be upset," "You can see Yoo Jae-suk tried to save the show, so this is rude," "If you're uncomfortable, just stick to making movies," and "Why complain after coming out for promotion?"
