Korean shooting concluded the 2024 Paris Olympics with the most medals ever won in its history. This surpassed the previous achievement of winning 3 gold medals and 2 silver medals at the 2012 London Olympics.
Korean shooting wrapped up all events on the 5th (local time) at the Ch?teauroux Shooting Center in France with the 25m rapid fire pistol and mixed team skeet competitions. Although the Korean mixed team skeet performed well, finishing 7th out of 15 countries and narrowly missing qualification, Korea won its first-ever silver medal in the 25m rapid fire pistol event in shooting history. With this, Korea stood on the podium until the final day of shooting at the Paris Olympics.
