Do-ing Education Innovation Center at Tongmyong University (President: Jeon Ho-hwan) participated in the '2024 Night Race in Busan' on the 3rd to promote the spread of Chedeokji education.
Faculty, staff, and students from the university ran the 7.25 km route from Gwangalli Beach to Centum City BEXCO, joining 20,000 participants from across the country along the beach and through the city. The enthusiasm of the participants dressed in purple made everyone forget the midsummer heat.
Han Sangjun, a professor at the Do-ing Education Innovation Center, shared his thoughts on participating, saying, "The Night Race offers students a unique sports experience along the vibrant night sea of Busan, and it will serve as motivation for them to proactively seek out healthy sports activities."
Students who participated in the race commented, "It was a joy to enjoy a midsummer night festival with friends at Busan's hot spot, Gwangalli Beach," and added, "We made many memories taking photos with the main tower of Gwangandaegyo Bridge as the backdrop."
Kim Minjung, the head of the Do-ing Education Innovation Center, also stated, "We will continue our efforts to provide Tongmyong University students with opportunities to proactively find healthy leisure activities through unique sports experiences and to promote both their physical and mental well-being."
