Record High Sales and Operating Profit
Continued High Growth in Cosmetic Ingredients Sector

Hyundai BioLand achieved record-high sales and operating profit in the first half of this year.

According to Hyundai BioLand, a comprehensive healthcare company affiliated with Hyundai Department Store Group, sales in the first half reached 64.5 billion KRW, a 25% increase compared to the previous year. Operating profit was 10.2 billion KRW, up 46% during the same period. Both sales and operating profit marked the highest half-year performance ever. Quarterly sales in Q2 rose 36% year-on-year to 34.5 billion KRW, and operating profit increased 77% to 6.2 billion KRW. This is also the highest quarterly performance on record.

Breaking down the first half results by segment, the cosmetics raw materials division recorded 33.9 billion KRW, a 15% increase from the previous year. This growth was driven by strong exports in the upstream K-Beauty industry.

The food raw materials division achieved 11.8 billion KRW, a 9% increase. In particular, the health food distribution business segment recorded 9.5 billion KRW, a fivefold increase compared to the same period last year. However, the biomedical division posted sales of 9.3 billion KRW, unchanged from the previous year.
