Seoul Women's University Hosts 'Seoul Women's University Day' with Kiwoom Heroes

Seoul Women's University announced on the 3rd that it held the 'Seoul Women's University Day' event together with the Kiwoom Heroes baseball team on the 30th of last month.

Seunghyunwoo, President of Seoul Women's University, and students Choi Youngjin and Ahn Hyunji, who performed the ceremonial first pitch and catch, are delivering a cheer message together with Seoul Women's University's character 'Shuniz'.

This event was made possible after the Kiwoom Heroes visited Seoul Women's University in May to conduct a baseball lecture program and invited about 600 students and faculty members to the NC game.

The Seoul Women's University cheerleading squad Shulse and the missionary praise group Shukwayer performed a congratulatory show before the game. The ceremonial first pitch and first bat were performed by students Choi Young-jin and Ahn Hyun-ji, who were selected by lottery.

Seung Hyun-woo, president of Seoul Women's University, said, "It is meaningful to watch a baseball game live with students at Gocheok Sky Dome, the home stadium of the Kiwoom Heroes," and added, "We will cheer enthusiastically together with students and faculty members for the Kiwoom Heroes, who gave us an unforgettable event."
