'Decoding Korea' is a media art exhibition organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Arts Management Support Center. It introduces eighteen works by eleven representative Korean artists, including Nam June Paik. Each piece captures the complex and multifaceted characteristics of contemporary Korean society through cutting-edge technologies such as projection mapping, artificial intelligence (AI), and virtual reality (VR).

The opening ceremony was attended by artists including Kwon Ha-yoon, Lee Yi-nam, and Jung Yeon-doo. About 300 local art world and institution officials, including Dominique Rolland, Director of Enghien-les-Bains Art Center, ?ric Lefebvre, Director of Cernuschi Museum, and Christian Briend, Chief Curator of the Pompidou Center, showed great interest in Korean art.

Vice Minister Jang stated, "Through this exhibition, I hope the global audience will gain a more three-dimensional understanding of Korean society, which they have encountered through popular culture content such as K-pop and films." He added, "In particular, Nam June Paik regarded sports and art as powerful media that connect different people during his lifetime. At a time when the world unites through the Olympics, I hope that the message conveyed by Korean art will closely connect Korea and the world."
