Happy Alliance Provides Lunchboxes to Children at Risk of Malnutrition in Namyangju-si

Cooperation between Corporations, Local Governments, and Communities

The social contribution network Happy Alliance announced on the 25th that it will promote the 'Happy Dookki Project,' which provides lunchboxes to children at risk of food insecurity, in collaboration with Namyangju City and SK Magic.

Led by Happy Alliance, this project will provide 13,200 lunchboxes over 10 months to 60 children in Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province. SK Magic will donate the funds for the lunchbox project, Happy Lunchbox Social Cooperative will manufacture and deliver the lunchboxes, and Namyangju City will identify the target children and provide administrative support.

Jominyeong, head of Happy Alliance, said, "We thank Namyangju City and SK Magic for their support in building a sustainable social safety net," adding, "Going forward, Happy Alliance will continue to establish an organic cooperation system with companies and local governments so that all children at risk of food insecurity can grow into healthy talents."

The day before, the signing ceremony held at Namyangju City Hall in Gyeonggi Province was attended by Hong Jiseon, Deputy Mayor of Namyangju City, Kim Seunghyuk, Head of SK Magic B2C Sales Office, and Head Jo, among others.

Happy Alliance is a safety net created by 121 companies, 88 local governments, and 420,000 ordinary citizens to build a happy world where even children who do not receive welfare benefits can be included. Happy Narae, the operating secretariat of Happy Alliance, is a purchasing service company established by SK that uses all profits to create social value.
