Adjustment of School Start Times for 22 Schools
Facility Damage Reported at 30 Schools, No Casualties
With heavy rain warnings issued for Seoul, the metropolitan area, and Chungnam, 32 schools nationwide have adjusted their academic schedules, including changes to school start times and shortened classes.
The Ministry of Education announced on the 18th at 10 a.m. that 32 schools had adjusted their academic schedules. Twenty-two schools changed their start times, nine schools applied shortened classes, and one school closed temporarily.

By education office, 8 schools in Incheon and 24 schools in Gyeonggi adjusted their academic schedules.
No casualties were reported, but facility damage occurred at a total of 30 schools. One school was flooded, two schools suffered partial damage, and 27 schools experienced leaks.
