The graduation photos of Uijeongbu High School, which have captured the nation's attention every year by featuring notable figures and issues, have been released for this year. The third-year students chose Min Hee-jin, NewJeans, Inside Out, Grave Robbing, Love Bug, Lee Jae-yong, and others.

On the 17th, Uijeongbu High School released about 50 graduation photos recently taken on campus under the title "2024 Uijeongbu High School Graduation Photos" through the Student Council's Instagram. The Student Council stated, "The graduation photo shoot at Uijeongbu High School has been completed," and added, "We ask for your continued interest this year as well."

This year's graduates continued the school tradition by taking graduation photos with makeup and costumes reflecting various issues and personalities. The most eye-catching was Min Hee-jin, CEO of ADOR. A student imitating Min's so-called 'press conference look' staged a scene grabbing the collar of a student dressed as Bang Si-hyuk, chairman of HYBE, parodying the recent controversy. Another student appeared dressed exactly like Hanni, a member of the popular idol group NewJeans, who was trained by CEO Min and wore the outfit she showcased at a fan meeting in Japan.

Students also drew attention by dressing as the emotion characters from the recently released and popular animated film Inside Out 2, as well as the protagonists from the films Grave Robbing and Spring in Seoul. Additionally, students recreated characters from trending dramas such as Seonjae Runs Away, Moving, and Killer o Nan-gam.

There was also a student who imitated Lee Jae-yong, chairman of Samsung, who became a topic of conversation with the 'Shh' photo. This photo was parodied based on an image taken last December when President Yoon Suk-yeol visited a traditional market in Busan accompanied by Lee and other major group heads.

Moreover, a student portraying the Love Bug, which had been rampant until recently, also caught attention.

However, there was no political satire involving presidents or politicians. Since gaining attention in 2009, Uijeongbu High School's graduation photos were once praised for their sharp political satire, with some saying they were "better than most editorial cartoons." However, after some groups filed defamation claims, teachers and students underwent police investigations, causing turmoil. Since then, the school has preserved the tradition by conducting photo shoots after prior consultation with students to avoid controversial content.
