8 People Complaining of Neck Pain Transferred to Hospital

A suspected chemical leak incident occurred at a building in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

According to the fire authorities, around 2 p.m. on the 6th, a suspected chemical leak incident occurred at a five-story above ground and two-story basement neighborhood living facility in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

As a result of the incident, eight people complained of throat pain and were taken to the hospital for treatment before returning home. About 40 nearby citizens evacuated on their own.

The fire authorities and police are controlling the area near the scene and investigating whether there was a chemical leak.
